Major loan officer compensation changes will take effect on April 1, 2011 stemming from the Truth in Lending Act changes proposed by the Federal Reserve Board. This rule change implemented several changes to loan officer compensation including new definitions as to what constitutes a loan originator and significant new restrictions as to how they can be compensated.
